Letter #21
Hey There…
Events can change, because things happen and I’m not perfect…

🎟️ Update: 1st Happy Hour
Well my friends, I’m excited to announce the details for the Inaugural Catskill Crew Happy Hour… DRUM ROLL PLZ 🥁
The first one will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at The Urban Cowboy Lodge in Big Indian.

Good Times + Good People
Here’s the deal: We got a DJ, drink specials, snacks, and perhaps some more fun stuff, oh, and the restaurant will be open as well. We’ll presell 40 tickets for $20 each, which get you a free welcome shot and eligibility for a $99 room rate-special so you can really have some fun (first come first serve). Don’t have a ticket? No problem. You can still come by and pay at the door - but sorry, no welcome shot for you and that post Happy Hour room will be $149 (subject to availability).
I hope to see you there so I’m not awkwardly sipping martinis alone. If you want to guarantee your ticket, click the link and say YES and if you want a ticket and a room say HELL YES 🤠
📽️ Old Footage
The other day I stumbled across a short video capturing old footage of the Catskill Branch of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad from 1936. It’s a pretty incredible bit of history following the train leaving Kingston and making its way to the end of the line in Oneonta.

👨🔬 Chugability Report

Rating: 13 / 10 stars ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️
Notes: Made from triple-distilled wheat grown right on their farm in Red Hook, and in accordance with regenerative agricultural practices. This gin is an experience with the juniper you would come to expect, but matched with citrus and cardamom. I prefer to sip it in a G&T with a slice of orange versus lime - but hey, you do you.
