The Catskills Top 10 Vintage Shops
This week in the Catskills

Howdy! First off, I’m blown away by all you folks that reached out to offer a helping hand with grants. You rock. I’m forever grateful. The rivers have been looking great, the March Browns are hatching, and the trout have been biting. This week’s newsletter is jam packed so enough rambling, let’s jump right into it. - Michael

TOP 10 VINTAGE SHOPS
The Catskills are full of treasures, some tucked into shops on Main Street, others covered by dust in old barns. Whether you’re looking for a farmhouse sink, a bamboo fly rod, or the perfect pair of jeans (when they were still made of raw, tough cotton), there’s no shortage of opportunities to dig around for the perfect find.
I've teamed up with my friends over at Upstate Curious to bring you some of the best vintage shops around. Grab some coffee, clear out your trunk space, and get ready to explore. Happy hunting, Crew!

Red Owl Collective - Kingston
This 10,000-square-foot vintage and design emporium in Midtown Kingston features over 85 vendors slinging everything from mid-century furniture to vintage clothing, records, and unique homewares. They also run a flea market series during the warmer months that's worth marking on your calendar.Zaborski Emporium - Kingston
Architectural salvage on a massive, somewhat chaotic scale. Four floors packed with old sinks, doors, windows, fixtures, and furniture - it's easy to get lost in here (I speak from personal experience). If you're into restoration projects or just want to see what 100 years of discarded building materials looks like (who doesn’t?), this place is worth checking out.Lost and Found - Stone Ridge
A curated selection of antiques, vintage furniture, and home decor that feels more like a gallery than a flea market. Expect higher prices, but a well-chosen inventory that justifies the cost. The kind of place where you might actually find that perfect piece you've been hunting for.
Newburgh Vintage Emporium & WARE-house - Newburgh
Two massive buildings just minutes apart with over 125 vendors sprawling across 45,000+ square feet. One spot leans more rustic, the other more industrial and mid-century. Easily one of the most comprehensive vintage stops in the region - you could spend an entire day getting lost here.Hudson Valley House Parts - Newburgh
This gem is focused, clean, and organized — a sharp contrast to some other salvage spots. Mostly architectural materials: doors, mantels, windows, antique lighting. They also host preservation workshops and events for the true old-house nerds among us.Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop - Margaretville
Housed in the historic Bussy Building, this long-running thrift store offers a rotating selection of donated goods—clothing, housewares, books, and more—priced to move. Proceeds support the local hospital and care center, so your treasure hunting does some good too.
This and That - Delhi
A delightful mix of antiques, collectibles, and useful old stuff, with a Saturday flea market during warmer months. No branding, no frills — just a straightforward spot to rummage and discover. Be sure to check out the barn in the back - there are always a few good finds in there.
Taylor and Ace - Roscoe
This shop leans rugged yet refined with vintage denim, worn leather couches, decanters asking to be filled with single malt scotch, wool blankets, and a few unexpected finds. It's small, well-curated, and feels more like a cabin than a showroom. A perfect stop after a day fishing the Beaverkill.Life Repurposed - Livingston Manor
An eclectic mix of old and new, featuring antiques, refinished furniture, vintage clothing, and more. With a constantly evolving inventory, it's a must-visit for treasure hunters in western Sullivan County.Barryville Emporium - Barryville
A charming, ever-changing collection of antiques, vintage clothing, jewelry, and more. Open Friday through Sunday, it's a delightful stop along Route 97 when you're out exploring the Delaware.

CATSKILL-OPOLY
After nearly 6 months, CATSKILL-OPOLY is back in town. I’m boxing ‘em up, shipping ‘em out, and dropping ‘em off at shops across the Catskills.

You can get yours from the link below or grab one at Kitchen Cheetah, Tannersville Works, Cafe Mornings, Watershed, or Citiot. More shops coming later this week. Oh, and if you want to carry them at your mighty fine establishment, just reach out and say hi.
